Guidance Counseling

At DelCampo International School, Guidance Counselors provide a comprehensive school-counseling program which strives to help our students achieve their potential not only intellectually, but also morally, so that they may lead responsible and fulfilling lives. Our program focuses not only in the academic aspect of our curriculum but also in the career, social and emotional side of every student. Our guidance counselors serve our students through classroom lessons, small group and individual meetings.  The purpose of these meetings is to enhance and develop in our students our school´s values, profile and the continuous improvement of all members of our community. Our many services and programs for students, parents, and faculty assist them in achieving academic success and in exploring options for their present and their future.

Values Program

The Counseling Department works closely with students to instill in them the core values that DelCampo International School has firmly established as the base of a community driven by strong morals.

We constantly transmit the following DCIS core values to our student body and staff members:

  • Honesty and Accountability
  • Care and Service
  • Open Communication
  • Collaboration
  • Growth and Self-Improvement
  • Respect

The Counseling Department also hosts various  psycho-educational activities during the year which are centered in our values program which are offered to our community through:

  • Workshops for students
  • Workshops for parents
  • Individual counseling
  • Group counseling
  • Reflection day projects
  • "Living Our Values" Program

DCIS acknowledges that there are multiple ways to get through to students when it comes to reminding and teaching them the importance of living through good values.  Reason why, we bring forth the message of helping our society, by building bonds that will allow us to become closer through unity, integrity, and ethics.
