International School Awards

We, at DelCampo School, were nominated for an award in The International School Awards, in London, United Kingdom.

The award ceremony, sponsored by Pearson, was held in the Grand Connaught Rooms in London on Monday, January 21.

The International School Awards recognize best practice, creative endeavours, community participation, and innovation at international schools worldwide. 2019 is the first year that this competition was open to all international schools. The schools that were in attendance came from Europe, Asia, Africa, and America; however, DelCampo was the first and only Latin American school.

Attendees invited to the event were selected from over 200 schools. A shortlist of 32 schools was narrowed to the final 4, whose learning initiatives competed for the prize.

DCS was nominated in the Teaching Initiative category. The International School Awards recognized the DCS Film Festival as an outstanding teaching initiative.

Our Director of Teaching and Learning, Thomas Whittington, attended the ceremony.
