Dear families,

Welcome to Middle School!

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to Middle School (Grades 6th-8th) .  I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a wonderful division bustling with persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community.  I feel very fortunate to have been a part of DelCampo School for the past twenty-five years in different positions and divisions which has definitely provided me with plenty of insight to the different developmental stages. I am eager to work with you as a partner in education to work towards your child's success.

I have had the privilege to be a part of and watch our students grow into amazing, knowledgeable, and  well-prepared individuals. I am truly honored to be a part of their lives and help them, along with the rest of our community, to embrace their differences, overcome obstacles successfully, and find their talents. It is our goal to build strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners. 

Besides focusing on academics, data-driven instruction and high standards we also have placed Social-Emotional learning as a priority.  When we care for our emotions and how we feel about ourselves we become better learners. At DelCampo we continuously strive to “be better”, we aim to be the best and that is precisely what our Mission states,  “Foster Students’ Highest Potential”. Our curriculum is demanding, which means that students are held up to high expectations, but with support and encouragement from their school and family we are sure they will meet and exceed them. DelCampo students are unique, they develop quite a spirit, not only through the core values embedded in our curriculum, but through the motivation and example to care for others, to be honest, to respect, and to collaborate.

We want to create a strong communication system and a bond as the team we need to be to benefit our children. Your child becomes “ours”, and we are here, by your side to successfully go through the interesting life stage of changing from a child to a teenager.

As a team, a community, and a family, here at DCS we feel privileged that you have trusted us with your child’s education. We pledge to provide our community members with an outstanding education and pledge to always strive for excellence with their best interest at heart.
