Validating International Transcripts

The Honduran Ministry of Education is the legal entity that oversees both public and private academic institutions in Honduras and requires all students entering Grade 1 to Grade 12 (1-12), who transfer from a foreign school, undergo a process of recognition and/or equivalence of study.

All original academic records (transcripts), issued outside Honduras, must be apostille or certified, depending on the country of origin requirements, at the nearest Honduran Embassy or Consulate. In Honduras, academic records must be officially translated and submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They will then be validated by the Ministry of Education through a legal representative. This procedure is a requisite for officially enrolling the student in the corresponding Grade level.

If you are an international student, please contact the Admissions Director directly.
