DelCampo School we are committed to creating a safe, nurturing and secure environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
We are committed to helping students lead balanced, fulfilling lives, cultivating not only a love of learning but also physical, emotional, and social well-being. Wellness is essential for both students and employees to thrive as part of our community.
As a school, we recognize our vital responsibility within society to safeguard students and to provide a safe, supportive environment where every child can learn and grow.
Because educators and school staff work closely with students over extended periods, they are uniquely positioned to notice signs of concern and to provide timely support. With this responsibility comes both a professional duty and an ethical commitment to identify and assist students who may be at risk of abuse, neglect, bullying, or who require additional protection and care.
Student well-being is at the heart of our educational approach.
All students are deserving of a sense of belonging and connection.
All students are capable of change and growth.
Student success is individually defined and enhanced by one's own unique strengths.
It is essential to celebrate diversity in all its forms and to support our students’ development towards an awareness of their personal identities;
Communication between home and school should be collaborative and ongoing.
Student safety is at the heart of everything we do. If you suspect abuse or neglect, we urge you to speak up.

At DelCampo School, the safety and well-being of our students is a shared responsibility. To ensure that every child is protected and supported, all teachers and staff are required to complete a Child Safeguarding Course.
This training equips our educators with the knowledge and skills to recognize signs of abuse, neglect, or bullying, and to respond appropriately and responsibly. By making this training mandatory, we affirm our commitment to creating a school environment where every student feels safe, respected, and cared for.
Together, as a school community, we strive to uphold the highest standards of child protection and to ensure that safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do.
